As a pharmacy benefit manager, MemberHealth administers prescription drug benefits for commercial and government organizations. MemberHealth is a leading national Medicare Part D sponsor, offering Medicare prescription drug plans under the Community Care RxSM (CCRx) brand in 49 states, District of Columbia, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands and under the Community Pharmacists Care Rx brand in Oklahoma.

Our overall business philosophy sets us apart from our competitors. From inception, MemberHealth has executed pharmacy transactions under full transparency. An originator of the concept, transparency removes the confusion surrounding the transactions associated with prescription drug benefits. MemberHealth established its reputation as a visionary provider of prescription drug benefits for insured and self-insured groups and discount prescription programs across the country, by focusing on strengthening the relationships between patients, their pharmacists and physicians, which ensures that patients can take medicines with confidence and save money.

MemberHealth believes that there is no “one size fits all” solution. That is why we work in tandem with our clients to analyze and understand their existing plan and company culture. We then work jointly to create and implement a customized program, designed to control costs and minimize claims administration.

MemberHealth currently administers benefits for nearly 5 million people. During 2006, we processed nearly 52 million prescriptions. In our largest network, members have access to more than 60,000 participating pharmacies across the nation.

MHRx received the top award in the 2006 Weatherhead 100 Centurion competition, honoring the fastest-growing Northeast Ohio companies with net sales of more than $100 million in 2005. In 2006, MHRx was ranked #10 on the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing, privately held companies in the country.
